Dr. Megan Witzel grew up in the Sugar House area and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. After almost a decade away from the valley she is very excited to be back so close to home.

She attended veterinary school through the Washington State University WIMU program completing her first 2 years of coursework at Utah State University and finishing her degree at Washington State University (go cougs!). Professionally her interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.

In her free time Dr. Witzel enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, eating good food, and spending time in the outdoors with her golden retriever, Theo. Her household also includes a diabetic cat named Bear.
